History
In summer 1982, two best friends studied in the same Senior Hi-School, Yoshiki Hayashiki and Toshimitsu Deyama, and formed a new band called Noise. Then both decided to change the name into X. This band was the first band in Japan used Visual-Kei (dressing up like woman). For few years, their band changed their member a lot, but both Yoshiki and Deyama still remained to be the rest members. In 1987, two musician joined their band, Taiji (as bassist) and Pata(as guitarist), and released two singles titled "I'll Kill You" and "Orgasm". In 1988, their first album "Vanishing Vision" borned, n recruited a new guitaris, Hide. The album was released under recording label owned by Yoshiki called Extasy. But, their album wasn't so succeed. It may caused by the public weren't liked hard-rock as well. Evenmore, mass-media called them as "Violent".
After their first album, they tried to release brand new qualified albums, and finally borned a new album "Blue Blood" in April, 1989. In the same year, they broke the record by becoming the first band held a concert in Tokyo Dome for 3 days, which was till that time, Tokyo Dome was never used to hold musical concert. This concert named "Hametsu ni Mukatte", and was held in 5-7 January. Since then, they released album "Jealousy". They also tried to hold tour in America. But it wasnt greeted well in the country, because public didnt want any such Visual-Kei band. After the tour, they changed their band's name into X-Japan, because at that time, name X was used by another band in America. Besides that, they also wanted to broaden their career in the international challenge. All members were also tried to extend their career, by making solo project for themselves. Unfortunately, the bassist Taiji, out from the band in January, 31st, 1992. Mass media said that Yoshiki fired him, but Taiji himself explained there were pressures from the record-label to force Yoshiki to fire him. Then Heath applied at empty-position left by Taiji in August.
After vacuum period, for about 5 years, since Jealousy was released, 4th album and also as the last released. It was titled Dahlia. This album contained their single since 1992 until 1996. Without any expectations, Toshi announced his discharge
